The Future Classroom: Immersive Learning for Middle School Educators

Immersive Technology is making its way into the classroom and we’re here to make adoption easier than ever.

We are delighted to announce our next Breakfast Symposium Series event; The Future Classroom: Immersive Learning for Middle School Educators. Held at the Lumination campus located in Thebarton, Adelaide on Thursday 24th November, you and a colleague are invited to attend.

Are you a middle school educator who’s eager to learn how to effectively incorporate emerging technologies into the classroom? Experts will outline how you can find the right applications and content to achieve exceptional educational outcomes with Immersive Technology, such as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR).

You’ll walk away knowing:

• How the use of emerging technologies connects directly to outcomes across curriculum areas of years 7,8 and 9 such as English, Maths, Science, HASS, Digital Technologies and Design and Technology
• The use of Immersive Learning to assist in developing students’ skills and conceptual understanding of critical and creative thinking, problem solving, personal and social capabilities
• How to navigate Immersive Learning applications and content; what is available, how to access content and how to link directly to educational outcomes
• How to create a lesson plan using Immersive Technologies in a hands-on workshop session

Attendees will enjoy breakfast, networking and the opportunity to experience the latest Immersive Technology for the classroom.
