Our team of engineers, educators, designers and software developers are on a mission to fundamentally change the landscape of learning in the classroom and workplace.
We work with Government, Education, Defence, and Industry to build and implement advanced immersive learning technology, improving workplace capabilities and preparing learners for jobs of the future.
History in the making
Lumination was founded with the goal of disrupting one of the oldest practices in history – the conventional classroom. In six short years, we’ve outgrown four office locations, while working with over 2600 schools nationally and expanding our immersive technology products into the defence, government, and enterprise sectors.

Be passionate and determined
We owe it to ourselves to work on things we are passionate about. If you’re passionate about something, you’ll do a better job and enjoy the process. There are some necessary evils at every job, but it’s up to you to make sure you’re passionate about what you’re working on.
Use Good Judgment
Whether it’s making product decisions or meeting with a client, we expect everyone to use good judgment in all aspects. Dress well if it’s a formal meeting, weigh all the pros and cons if it’s an important product decision, move quickly when you can… you’re here because we trust you.
What we Value
We hold ourselves accountable, we own our decisions and our mistakes which we learn from and see as opportunities. We all share in our success, so we have an ownership mindset.
We challenge the norm, and we realise that a scaling company is a continuous journey, never a perfect one so we don’t let perfect get in the way of good to keep moving forward. We test and iterate and identify problems, and move to solutions in an agile way.
