LeadMe Has New Troubleshooting Features

A new update is available for LeadMe. In this update new functionality has been created for the user to log and access troubleshooting actions directly from the tablet. There has also been improvements to network reliability for use inside a Lumination Learning Lab.

New Features

Troubleshooting and Help

Users of LeadMe can access help and log tickets directly on the software. This will save the user time and provide them with troubleshooting documentation to fix the problem. To access the user can access the HELP button on the top right hand corner.

New Homepage

Leadme New Homepage

LeadMe’s homepage has been updated to display the most used features. This will make it easier for the user to select the most common actions directly from the homepage. The actions include:

  • VR mode and classroom mode in quick actions
  • Replaced turn on/off with ‘restart lab’
  • Identify moved to top right

QA Tool (internal)

New features have been added to the internal QA Tool. The features provide further assistance to the installation checks for LeadMe inside a Lumination Learning Lab. They include:

  • Tablet names are now using numbers instead of IP addresses
  • Support for testing a lab offline
  • Show number of experiences in the list

Network Reliability Updates

To improve reliability of LeadMe inside a Lumination Learning Lab improvements have been made to connectivity features. This includes:

  • Implemented tablet polling to improve syncing of statuses between devices
  • Implemented acknowledgement of messages between the tablet and the NUC to improve syncing of information between devices in poor network conditions

  • AMD check not accurate
  • OpenSSL check causing a crash on the windows checks page
  • Report styling
