We've made LeadMe more reliable in your Lumination Learning Lab

LeadMe inside a Lumination Learning Lab has been updated to include new functionality for users. This update includes improvement to current features and better reliability within the Lab.

Features

Better Installation

Our support team can now remotely access the configuration for appliances and station lists. This allows our team to make certain changes to a lab set up remotely rather than in person.

Improved Connectivity

Updates have been made to improve tablet connection within a Lab. This update reduces the likelihood of disconnect of the Tablet within the Lab. This update also includes an upgrade in  communications from UTF-8 to Unicode

Larger Deployment File Size

Changes have been made to increase the maximum deployment file size using LeadMe. This will assist in running certain types of experiences.

QA Tool Improvements

A number of features have been added to the QA tool when setting up a Lumination Learning Lab. They include:

  • A check is done to ensure the launcher is installed in the correct location
  • Allow selection of whether a milesight router is being used to alter the automatic checks that are run
  • Add a check that the station ID corresponds to the station name
  • Allow a user to re-collect the station values on the station setup screen

Fixes

  • Fix files getting corrupted in Windows 11 upgrade
  • Family mode filter not being applied to Steam experiences in offline mode
  • NUC crashing when attempting to control an appliance that does not exist through the scenes
  • Double clicking in the submit ticket dialog would submit two tickets

A number of fixes have been made to the QA Tool for our Lumination team. They include:

  • Extended friends mode check to review additional files
  • Updates to report stylings so they work offline
  • Removal of tablets in list if they are not connected
